Let’s Discuss Your Needs
Let’s explore how my systems architecture mindset can help you connect data to policy, mandates to practice, or ideas to strategy. If you want to explore a project, send me a short message with:
- what you are trying to achieve,
- the background of your project,
- where you are stuck,
- your timeframe, and
- a financial proposal.
I will reply with clear suggestions for next steps and whether I am a good fit.
Available for:
Long-term advisory (e.g. regional programme design, multi-year frameworks, analytical research and reporting, guide development)
Short-term sprints (e.g. system evaluations, framework design and review, analysis and policy papers)
Hybrid engagements (remote + on-site)
Multi-Source Analysis & Synthesis
I produce cross-cutting analysis that turns information pools, indicator sets or any other data resource into clear reports for decision-makers. I handle comparability problems and data gaps openly, without weakening trust in the story.
- Conduct analysis that policy- and other decision-makers can actually use
- Run time-series, cross-institution, structural, benchmark comparative, equity or disaggregate analysis
- Assess policy effectiveness, diagnose systems, and review quality (from existing documents)
- Synthesise large literatures (for example 300+ papers → synthesis, compendium, discussion, framework, theory, etc.)
- Bring cross-sector views together (education, socio-demographics, finance, equity, climate, other sustainability fields)
- Write regional reports, policy papers, thematic briefs, fact sheets, executive summaries, explainer stories—all grounded in data
Good fit when: you need a regional synthesis, trend analysis, or country comparison that can stand up to scrutiny.
Project Rescue & Framework Redesign
I can examine struggling projects top to bottom, align stakeholders around clear-cut objectives, diagnose activity for results conversion and workplan optimization.
- Help existing programmes out of stuck activity-tracking mode
- Diagnose internal roles and decision paths that block delivery, and design workable governance, team structures, and terms that restore clarity and show outcomes
- Redesign results chains: converting activities → outputs → outcomes
- Review data architecture: fix fragmented indicators, missing metadata, misaligned purpose
- Build capacity through practical coaching on results frameworks and programme logic
- Create or repair templates: planning frameworks, ToRs, and reporting formats
Good fit when: decision-makers ask “what is the point of this?” and the team cannot show a clear foundation.
Regional Program Architecture Design
I design end-to-end structures that connect goal ambitions, outputs, activities, timelines, budgets, and responsibilities. I also make sure the design fits existing national plans and institutions so it can be adopted.
- Build whole-of-system programmes that connect global mandates to national implementation
- Design frameworks: objectives → outputs → activities across multiple pillars
- Map institutions: which ministry, department, committee, and how they coordinate
- Lay out stakeholder coordination: practical set-up for how units and partners work together (who meets, for what decisions, and how information moves)
- Shape governance structures: roles, ToRs, working groups, steering mechanisms
- Ideate country engagement approaches: bilateral, regional bodies, existing national processes
- Plan implementation pathways: trial phase → scaling → consolidation with learning cycles
Good fit when: you have a big agenda, many partners or countries, and need one coherent system from global goals to what a team does on Tuesday morning.
Data Systems & Monitoring Concept
I conceptualise or repair monitoring systems so they produce trusted evidence — indicator choices, shared definitions, metadata, data flows, including how different data sources fit together.
- Apply and adapt data quality assessment frameworks and Codes of Practice
- Compile indicator frameworks that follow international practice and align with strategies, including definitions, limitations, potential sources, disaggregation rules, etc.
- Develop benchmark targets from reference data (historic trends, peer systems, regional or global averages)
- Combine administrative data, assessments, surveys, and finance data into coherent analysis and reporting, with clear notes on what is and is not comparable
Good fit when: you have an indicator framework on paper but the real data are fragmented, defined differently across units, or not comparable – and you need a simple, trusted monitoring backbone.
Donor Proposal & Stakeholder Reporting
I develop coherent funding proposals and donor-facing reports with clear logic and grounded narratives. I take ideas from early concept to submission, and help report progress in a way that meets requirements.
- Turn ideas into full grant proposals: objectives, results logic, outputs and activities, governance, risks, and sustainability
- Restructure or strengthen proposals so the narrative, evidence, and design are feasible
- Prepare donor reports and compliance documents that explain needs, what exists, and what is still missing – without spin
- Draft stakeholder updates for mixed audiences (donors, boards, governments, partners), turning technical progress into credible messages
- Create or adapt templates (frameworks, workplans, budgets, ToRs, indicator tables)
Good fit when: you need a proposal with higher chances to survive donor review, or your reporting feels unclear or detached from real progress.
Flexible Extras
Extra pieces clients often need alongside the core work. They draw on my cross-disciplinary range and my ability to translate technical work into formats different audiences can use.
- Write in multiple formats, from full technical reports to short briefs, always evidence-based and explicit about limits
- Produce public-facing thought pieces, explainers, and advocacy texts that are readable for non-specialists but still accurate
- Map SDG targets and indicators into ESG logic so sustainability claims and reporting are defensible
- Translate ESG standards onto project-level indicators and monitoring frameworks
- Build equity and inclusion lenses into frameworks and analysis (gender, disability, youth, digital divide, etc.)
- Design workshops around concrete deliverables so events produce usable outputs, not just discussion (not including execution)
Good fit when: you need someone who can see the big picture, handle the details, and work across disciplines and social dynamics, even picking up on social cues.
