Youth challenges in Asia-Pacific

My first professional assignment in international development consultation at UN ESCAP was to develop a regional analysis of the socio-economic challenges facing young people in Asia-Pacific. The report synthesised existing evidence on employment, entrepreneurship, school-to-work transition, political inclusion, and civic engagement, and combined comparative data with country examples and policy-oriented recommendations. It helped turn a fragmented evidence base into a more coherent regional account of youth exclusion and the kinds of responses needed to address it.
